The Duchess’ jewelry are from her private collection. When the Duchess first appeared her assistant tweeted that they are from her private collection. After that, people started to speculate and the rumor that they were a gift originating from a Mid Easterner started to make the round. In my opinion, who cares who gave the jewels to the Duchess? The fact is no amount of speculation is going to change anything; the jewels are the Duchess’ and with her they will remain. She looked stunning in her gown and was perfection in her choice of jewelry for the occasion.
